Trio caught on camera vandalizing window of Williamsburg synagogue
Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY - A group of people was caught on camera in Williamsburg damaging a synagogue during a holiday.
It happened in the middle of the high holiday prayers around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at a synagogue on Throop Street at the corner of Bartlett Street.
Police say three people were caught on camera running down the street when one picks up what appears to be a milk crate as another picks up what appears to be a metal box, both throwing the objects at the window of the synagogue. The third person appeared to serve as a lookout for the trio, who then sped off on foot.
The synagogue suffered some damage, as the glass of the window shattered.
