A man has been arrested in connection with an alleged antisemitic offence on a London Underground train earlier this week.

Video filmed on Friday showed a man reading anti-Jewish passages to two young boys and their father, who are wearing kippot on the crowns of their heads.

In a statement British Transport Police said a man was arrested on suspicion of a racially aggravated section 5 public order offence.

The man, whose age has not been released, remains in custody after being arrested in Birmingham this evening.
