Berlin - According to a media report, there was apparently a case of antisemitism in the Federal Chancellor’s driving service. As reported by “Bild am Sonntag”, citing government circles, a corresponding incident was reported to the Federal Government’s Antisemitism Commissioner, Felix Klein. According to this, an employee of the readiness to drive stated that he had been bullied and insulted by his colleagues for a longer period at the beginning of 2019.

Several colleagues are said to have called the Lebanese man of Jewish faith “Judensau” and “Kanake”. The spokeswoman for the antisemitism official confirmed the operation, according to the report. For reasons of personal protection, however, she did not want to give any details, since the man had asked for confidentiality.
