Weimar - Unknown persons have once again defaced the open-air exhibition with photo portraits of survivors of the Buchenwald concentration camp.

Five leaflets related to the current corona pandemic have been attached to the portraits, a spokesman for the State Operations Center said on Saturday.

The incident was discovered on Thursday, the leaflets have already been removed. The organizer of the exhibition, which had been shown for about a year, Martin Kranz, had reported a similar incident a week earlier on Saturday.

Several portraits were defaced with stickers labeled "risk group". These have also been removed. According to the spokesman, the police are currently assuming an administrative offense.
