Entre Ríos adhered to the national government resolution to adopt the IHRA definition of antisemitism

Entre Rios becomes the first province to adhere to Resolution No. 114/2020 of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship of the Nation of June 4, 2020 by which the definition of Antisemitism developed by the International Alliance is adopted of Holocaust Remembrance.

DAIA Entre Ríos receives with great approval and pride Provincial Decree No. 819 of June 10, 2020 where the Province of Entre Ríos resolves the aforementioned accession.

The Province of Entre Ríos is an example to always follow at the forefront of the fight against Discrimination and Antisemitism.

Four days after the arrival in Israel of the new Argentine ambassador, Sergio Daniel Urribarri, the Argentine Republic officially adopted the definition of antisemitism from the International Alliance for the Remembrance of the Holocaust (IHRA). In this way, the country joins a list of nations that have been adhering to the use of the definition approved on May 26, 2016.

In the resolution released by Ambassador Urribarri and signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship of Argentina, Felipe Solá, public and private institutions of the Argentine Republic are invited to also implement the use of the adopted definition.
