Antisemitic graffiti against the journalist Ángel Etchecopar

Buenos Aires - The Delegation of Argentine Israelite Associations (DAIA) issued a statement condemning the antisemitic graffiti against the journalist of Jewish origin Ángel «Baby» Etchecopar. As it aired on Wednesday, a poster promoting the driver's program featured spray drawings of Stars of David and messages saying "scourge" and "S ... Zionist."

The DAIA press release, signed by its president Jorge Knoblovits and its secretary general Alejandro Zuchowicki, states that "grievances such as the one that occurred constitute a serious intolerance to freedom of expression and a manifestation of clear Judeophobia present in part of our society ».

In addition, the delegation expressed its condemnation of the grievances, urging "all of us who work for the construction of a plural and equal society" to repudiate them.

Etchecopar, 67, hosts his program "Baby en el medio" on Radio Rivadavia, and is also a host on the television program "Basta Baby", which is broadcast on channel A24.
