100-year-old Jewish cemetery in Michigan vandalized with crimson paint

Grand Rapids, MI - A 100-year-old Jewish cemetery in Michigan was vandalized over the weekend.

Purple graffiti, together with the phrases “TRUMP” and “MAGA”, had been found on gravestones on the cemetery in Grand Rapids on Monday, based on images launched by the Anti-Defamation League of Michigan.

“We’re appalled by the reported desecration of gravestones on the Ahavas Israel Cemetery in Grand Rapids, MI,” the civil rights group wrote on Twitter.
