The man who threw a block at the Essen synagogue was captured

Essen
- The man who threw a block at the Basen synagogue was identified and arrested. Police announced Tuesday morning. This is an Iranian (37) who is already known to the police.

Last Friday, the man threw a block into the synagogue window of the Jewish community. After checking the security cameras, it was found that another window was damaged by the same operation on 14 November.

Community officials on Monday gave testimony to state security officials about an anonymous man who had already contacted the synagogue several times before.

Security cameras can be seen from November 14, without a mask, rattling and knocking on synagogue doors and windows.

The police found the man in the house and arrested him temporarily. During his interrogation, he confessed to the crime, but without specifying a motive.
