The perpetrator of the vandalism of Jewish monuments was arrested

In particular, as it emerged from the police investigation, the perpetrator on Thursday afternoon, December 3, wrote slogans using spray both the monument and the fence of the Jewish cemetery in Larissa.

The perpetrator was located by police officers of the Tempi Police Department this Saturday morning in the greater area of ​​the Municipality of Tempi and in his possession were found two sprays, which were confiscated.

A case was filed against him for the offenses of damaging foreign property with the aggravating circumstance of the crime with racist characteristics and the violation of the law on racism.

In addition, the administrative fines imposed for non-compliance with the measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus were imposed on him.

The case file will be submitted to the Larissa Public Prosecutor's Office, while the preliminary investigation will be carried out by the Larissa security sub-directorate.
