Jewish man attacked in Berlin-Schöneberg

- Unknown men insulted and attacked a man in an antisemitic manner on Friday night in Berlin-Schöneberg.

The man appeared at a police station around 3 a.m. He stated there that he was on his way home around 2.15 a.m. wearing his kippah. On the Dürerplatz he was suddenly insulted by three unknown men. One of the three punched him in the face and then insulted him in an antisemitic manner . The attacked man hit a shop window as a result of the blow. The attackers fled in an unknown direction.

The ambulance service, which was then called at the police station, took the man to a hospital for outpatient treatment, the police said. The investigation into this attack is carried out by the State Police at the State Criminal Police Office.
