Window on Mannheim synagogue damaged

- An unknown perpetrator damaged a window at the Jewish synagogue in Mannheim

According to the police, the crime occurred on Thursday night at around 0.15 a.m. A patrol heard the blow and discovered the damaged window.

A police spokesman announced that the pane had cracked over a large area. A manhunt was immediately initiated. The state security of the Mannheim police headquarters is also investigating and checking a 20-year-old witness more closely.

In addition, the Mannheim police headquarters have reportedly increased the protective measures already in place at Jewish institutions.
