Germany - Seniors insulted when cleaning stumbling blocks in Berlin

Neukölln, Berlin
- A 28-year-old man insulted a woman and a man with anti-Semitism in Berlin-Neukölln. According to police, the two elderly men, aged 70 and 81, were cleaning up stumbling blocks on Schierkerstraße on Wednesday evening when the man passed by and was upset by it. He repeatedly insulted the two retirees with antisemitism and then fled.

The seniors spoke with two police officers who arrested the suspect nearby and confronted them with the charge. The man denied everything, police said. According to police, the state security department is now investigating a suspicion of insult and rebellion with an antisemitic background.
