Germany - For the first time, a vaccine opponent will be prosecuted for contempt of the Holocaust

In Bavaria, the Munich Public Prosecutor's Office is investigating for the first time in connection with Nazi comparisons and the corona vaccinations.

A 45-year-old man who is accused of sedition. He had posted a two-part picture on his Facebook page, the lower half of which showed the entrance to the Auschwitz concentration camp with the words “Work makes you free”. (Arbeit macht frei) Above it is a drawing with "Vaccination Makes You Free" (Impfen macht frei), as well as a row of black uniforms with huge syringes in their hands." Everything has been there before," was written next to it. If the man is convicted of sedition, he faces a fine or even a prison sentence of up to five years.

Opponents of vaccinations repeatedly establish a connection between the federal government's corona policy and National Socialism. For example, the Star of David with the word “Unvaccinated” can be seen again and again at demonstrations. The paragraph of “sedition” had not yet come into effect here. Because according to the wording of the Criminal Code, "playing down" is only punishable as sedition if it specifically relates to killings in concentration camps, for example.

The representative of the Munich Public Prosecutor's Office, Andreas Franck, criticized this. He told the “Süddeutsche Zeitung” that the Jewish star was a direct precursor to the Holocaust. "That's why it can hardly be conveyed that our hands are tied in criminal law."
